She opened Yulbang Pharmacy in Gangnam, Seoul, and built its cancer-nutrition consultation program by working through blood results, diets and lifestyles with thousands of patients. CURAEL grew out of that work: the products are the foods and supplements she kept recommending, made to her own standards. Patients submit their recent blood test, a questionnaire, and optionally biopsy or CT reports. The pharmacist then explains what the results mean for nutrition and suggests foods, supplements and habit changes that fit the patient&#8217;s treatment schedule.
